The popular VNC client for iOS, Screens , has recently received an update. Now, the application supports Apple’s upcoming OS X Lion, and various performance improvements have also been made in the update. As outlined in the app’s release notes, features of the update include: Compatible with OS X 10.7 Lion, New authentication methods (see User Guide > Connection Settings), Improved speed, Improved performance, Improved compatibility with many Windows VNC servers, Additional keyboard support for many languages, Bug fixes.
As you can imagine, Apple is hard at work right now prepping the App Store for the iPad launch this weekend. After releasing a new iTunes and approving literally hundreds of iPad only apps , Apple has just started populating the iPad App Store with universal applications as well. As a reminder , universal apps are this special “dual-mode” kind of iPhone applications that you can run on both your iPhone and your iPad, but still have a different interface depending on the device
