It’s hard to say if GameStop’s recent announcement of the creatively named mobile service called GameStop Mobile is forward-thinking or too-little-too-late. The service allows consumers with unlocked mobile devices (specifically GSM and HSPA phones) to use AT&T’s mobile spectrum without having to deal with AT&T. The convenience, as expected, comes at a price.

The app is broken down into three sections: Updates, You (profile), and Inbox. After being an iPhone-only app since its launch in 2008, LinkedIn’s v5.0 update takes full advantage of the iPad’s larger screen size to provide a gorgeous interface help you stay up-to-date with connections, groups, industry news, and all your other updates via the Updates section. Another new feature in the Updates section is the calendar, which you can configure to sync with your iPad’s calendar
Drafts ($0.99) by Agile Tortoise is a fast and easy way to jot down ideas with your iPhone. It seems that Launch Center ( our original review ) has launched a new trend of “shortcut” apps, but who says this is a bad thing? Personally, I love Launch Center (it’s in my dock ), and I appreciate any app that can make life easier
