I’ve reviewed plenty of task managers out there, and I rely on OmniFocus daily for keeping track of everything (from articles to errands). However, I was very intrigued by Realmac Software and Impending’s announcement earlier today, which is a task manager app that simplifies the task of…well, task management. The entire focus of Clear is that utilizes natural and intuitive multitouch controls that we are all familiar with, such as pinching and swiping.
Tap Tap Tap is known for quality apps in the App Store, such as Camera+ , Convert , and Voices 2 . Now they have a new one to add to the collection: Serenity ~ the relaxation app . After a long day of work, sometimes the best way to relax is with white noise and gorgeous animations. With Serenity, you get 30 different audio and video destinations (five screens to flick through with six choices on each)
enso Writer ($1.99) by knowtilus is another minimalistic writing app for your iPhone and iPad. Once you open up Enso Writer, you’ll be greeted with one of the default documents. With this, you get a general layout of how the app works: title of document is at the top, along with character/word/line count, the main editing area, and the three buttons at the bottom. These three buttons in the bottom toolbar will be frequently used, as they contain very important functions: Documents, Menu, and New Document
The most minimalist to-do app is sometimes the most efficient, and that’s exactly what you get with 2 Days ($0.99) by Ngoc Luu. Personally, my life lies entirely within OmniFocus, but I will admit, sometimes OmniFocus is not the most efficient way to go about things. Especially for things I just need to focus on for today and tomorrow.
