As you may know, Apple’s iOS 4.1 software update brings a cool new feature to the iPhone’s Camera app. Dubbed “HDR” (which stands for “high dynamic range” photography), this new mode of taking digital photos is pretty clever. However, for some time now, another application has been able to produce HDR digital photographs on iPhone 3GS handsets
Hot or Not Mobile is a new iPhone application that allows users to rate and interact with a variety of “hotties” (and “notties”) right from their portable iDevice. And, what’s more, the app is free to download, though a pretty hefty subscription fee is required for more advanced features.
Plastiq Camera ($1.99) by Plastiq Camera gives users the feeling of a toy camera right on their iPhone. Toy camera apps are always fun to experiment with, and Plastiq Camera is no exception. The app will launch directly into the camera after a quick second or two of loading. The unique thing with Plastiq Camera is that there is no shutter button – the entire screen is the button.
