Disney Mobile invited us to a special preview of everything Tron for the iOS devices to coincide with the upcoming movie Tron Legacy (12/17). The first thing was that the current free Tron app has a free update coming this Tuesday 11/16 that will include a Light Cycles game. The free app already includes a top down tanks game with 15 levels in single player plus there is multiplayer
It seems there is less and less to be excited about in the App Store with so many new releases just being different skins of genres that have had success. There still are some things to be excited about, and one such game is FMX Riders which is an Arcade Freestyle Motocross Racer. Most Motocross games to date haven’t been high on arcade style or action, and especially lacking freestyle tricks. FMX Riders looks to incorporate all of this plus bringing some very worthwhile features.
We Bowl is the newest game to enter the “We” series, and this time it’s from Freeverse who have made the Flick Bowling games in the past. We Bowl is a more user friendly and social bowling experience. The game takes many aspects of Skee-Ball, Freeverse’s most popular title, and applies them to bowling
The strange creatures known as The Moonsters have crash landed on a planet, and it’s up to you to get them back home. There are three unique Moonsters, and you begin with one, and unlock the other two as you progress to play through the other two environments. There are three environments in total each with their own beautiful design, different skilled Moonster to play with, and varying gameplay elements.
Humanity has destroyed Earth and Mother Nature, but there is a last resort defense mechanism in a giant worm. This sets the stage for Super Mega Worm which is an upcoming game with retro 8-bit graphics and one killer worm.
