The Writing App Is Mightier Than The Sword

As a writer here at AppAdvice , I think it’s safe to say that I’ve gone through my fair share of plain text editor apps on both the iPhone and iPad. As Shawn Blanc said, “ You can’t throw a rock at the iTunes and Mac App Stores without hitting a minimalistic writing app .” Yes, there are a lot of options out there. But if you are going to do a lot of writing (be it essays, long articles, blog posts, stories, notes, etc.), then you need to find something that works for you. Personally, I’ve learned to ditch the heavy word processors (like Microsoft Word and Apple’s Pages) and just go plain text – this helps me focus on the actual writing, and not worry about other unnecessary fluff and UI elements (and sometimes the most important thing you want to focus on is getting the words out)

The first thing that Batch will ask is for a Facebook login. Unfortunately, this is the only way to use Batch – those that don’t have a Facebook account are unable to use the app.

Sneak Peek Of The Tron App Evolution

Disney Mobile invited us to a special preview of everything Tron for the iOS devices to coincide with the upcoming movie Tron Legacy (12/17). The first thing was that the current free Tron app has a free update coming this Tuesday 11/16 that will include a Light Cycles game. The free app already includes a top down tanks game with 15 levels in single player plus there is multiplayer
