Overview We’ve heard about Predators for the iPhone for along time, and now the game by Angry Mob Games being published by Chillingo and Fox Digital Entertainment has finally arrived. We gave you a sneak peek at E3 , and now that it’s finally arrived we find out that it’s a universal app with a native version for the iPhone and iPad. You play as Predator killing off the humans on your planet, and trying to rip the heads off the most dangerous humans in a storyline that is licensed from the movie.
Overview Assault Squadron has finally hit the App Store after our initial preview from GDC. The sci-fi shoot ‘em up genre is relatively sparse in the App Store, but has received one action packed game.
Sneezies HD ($4.99) by Chillingo Ltd is a game of chain reactions where you tap once to drop sneezing powder, and try to get as many sneezies as possible to sneeze. Every level has a total number of sneezies, and there’s a given threshold of sneezies you need to make sneeze to advance. The game itself: The game features three different gameplay modes including 45 classic levels with increasing numbers of sneezies, and higher thresholds. Also included is challenge mode where you have multiple levels and five taps to reach a certain large score
Knight’s Onrush was an amazing castle defense game when it was released letting you pick up characters, and smash them to the ground quite literally. Then you could smash them with columns and boulders or shoot them with cannons or fireballs. The developers MoreGames made a little free promo version called a Quest of Knight’s Onrush which was just a causal endless hack n slash created in about a week. MoreGames has been working hard to build on a Quest of Knight’s Onrush since it received over 2 million downloads reaching the top 10 free in many countries
Overview Cogs HD is based upon the PC game Cogs, and you can read all about it in our review of the iPhone version . Features The iPad version is practically a direct port of the PC version giving you fifty levels of sliding puzzle fun to arrange pipes and gears. The game is native iPad resolution which is nearly the resolution it runs at on the PC rather than scaled down like the iPhone version. Each platform it runs on Cogs gives you 50 levels in inventor mode, and then in challenge mode you play those same fifty levels, but have a goal in completing them in a certain time or number of moves
