Siri might not always be able to recognise my British accent, but that’s not the biggest problem international iPhone users face with Apple’s “humble personal assistant.” Because Siri is still technically “in beta,” folks living outside of the U.S. still can’t search for local businesses using the iPhone 4S’s flagship feature.
Despite HTC’s insistence that legal battles with Apple wouldn’t affect consumers, the Taiwanese company’s two newest Android smartphones, the HTC One X and EVO 4G LTE , have been blocked from entering the country by US Customs. Apple won a patent suit against HTC back in December, when the U.S. International Trade Commission issued a limited exclusion order against HTC and two of its subsidiaries.

Virgin Atlantic passengers traveling between London and New York will soon be able to make calls on their smartphones during the flight, the airline has announced. The company is fitting its new Airbus 330 jets with tech from AeroMobile (pretty self-explanatory company name isn’t it?) making it the first UK airline to offer such a service.
