Sony Ericsson LiveView Android remote unveiled

Sony Ericsson has announced the arrival of one of the more intriguing phone accessories we have seen – a 1.3-inch wearable remote control which syncs with your Android handset. Called LiveView, the system consists of a 1.3-inch OLED screen which acts as an external touchscreen for your phone. Powered by Bluetooth, the remote allows you to check incoming calls, any calendar reminders you have and social networking apps like Twitter and Facebook. Android device And if you are listening to music on your Android handset, it will also act as a remote control so you can play, pause and skip your music.

BlackBerry has announced its new tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook. Set for a UK release date of “before summer 2011″ in the UK, the PlayBook features a 1GHz dual-core Coretex A9 processor, 7″ capacitive touchscreen with a 1024 by 600 widescreen resolution, dual HD cameras, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Weak Gourmet Live App Comes To The iPad

In June , we told you about the future return of Gourmet Magazine as an iPad app. This week, the app was released as Gourmet Live . In time, I fully expect this app to appeal to foodies of all ages, but for now the app is short on content and a little bit frustrating in its execution. The long-published food and wine magazine Gourmet ceased production in early 2009
