Virgin Media has announced it is now selling the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and the HTC Desire from today – and it has them in stock too ahead of other networks. Both existing and non-Virgin Media customers can phone up and order the phones from today – beating the likes of Vodafone, Orange and O2 to the punch. The HTC Desire, as we brought you news of earlier this week, will be available for £30 per month on a two year deal, with a free phone.
As you can imagine, Apple is hard at work right now prepping the App Store for the iPad launch this weekend. After releasing a new iTunes and approving literally hundreds of iPad only apps , Apple has just started populating the iPad App Store with universal applications as well. As a reminder , universal apps are this special “dual-mode” kind of iPhone applications that you can run on both your iPhone and your iPad, but still have a different interface depending on the device
Despite The Carphone Warehouse stealing a march by offering the HTC Desire on a Vodafone contract already, the red network has given TechRadar its official UK release date. Customers can pick up the HTC Desire in stores from 8 April – before the anticipated release for later in the month. Vodafone only yesterday announced it will be stocking the HTC Legend from 2 April, but it seems it can’t even hold onto the Desire for a week after that.
You can now distribute your apps to more customers with the addition of App Store support in Armenia, Botswana, Bulgaria, Jordan, Kenya, Macedonia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, Tunisia, and Uganda. Log in to iTunes Connect to view and update the countries where your applications are available.

Indeed, not only it will spare you the burden of carrying heavy books and fighting with printouts, but it will most probably be one of the most convenient ways to take and share notes .
